Deanna Durbin - Bridget

You are an up and coming star both in opera and the more modern moving
pictures. You are moderately famous in both areas though an attempt to
portray yourself in more serious roles (as opposed to musical comedies in
moving pictures) has not been successful and you figure a return to the
opera circuit may help fix matters. You have heard that the famous producer
Cecilia B Demile is also attending this opera looking for new stars but for
the moment you have had enough of Moving pictures.

Norma Desmond - Helen

You are a famous silent moving pictures star. Everyone has heard of you and
if they havn't then they are people of no consequence. Lately your career
has been flagging, ever since the introduction of those damned talkies. You
have come to the opera because it's a) glamourous and b) the famous producer
Cecelia B Demile is attending. He was involved in a lot of your old movies
and may be willing to star you in a new feature.

Mdm Legrosse

You are the famous opera singer Mina Legrosse and if you havnt sung it it
isn't worth singing. Admitteditly your best years are behind you but you are
certain you can make this final performance one everybody will remember.

Julia

Up until a few days ago you worked in the Department of Film Recordings
(DepFil) for the Ministry of Truth (MiniTru) in London, central City of
Airstrip One, Oceania. You were to all outward appearances a loyal and
goodthinkfull party member of INGSOC and member of the Junior Anti-sex
League. This was all a pretence, you spent most of your time trying to have
as good a time as possiable under Big Brother. Recently on the way to an
assignation you made a wrong turn and ended up in this very strange place
where people seem to spend all their time living it up and whats more have
never heard of Airstrip One, INGSOC or Big Brother. You have tried to blend
in but your worst fear is that the Thought Police will catch up to you and
drag you back.

Jennifer Bigglesworth

You are the famous fighter pilot of the Great War, Biggles. You have
constantly lived a life of action and adventure ever since climbing aboard
your first plane. You are attending the opera to gain the plans of a device
the boffins call Enigma. Someone here has the plans, but be careful. Foreign
spies are everywhere and they'll either want the enigma plans back or for
their own!

Dr Herbert West

You are a medical doctor from America. An inventor and a scientist you have
invented an immortality serum. The blind fools back at the University said
you were mad. As a result you are here, amongst the rich and famous to find
a patron to help you further develop your great work.

Agatha Christie

You are a famous traveller and novelist. You have come to the Opera because
it's well interesting with interesting people. They could be used as
inspirations for your next novel 'Poroit at the Opera'.

Dr. Henry Jones

You are a professor of archealogy and explorer from America

Is there any chance of getting an answer out of you about the various bits
of loot we may or may not have?

I asked William for you Jim.

I am not 125% sure but I understand that William normally hand writes the
drafts of his items so I expect they are not available at this point.
Also he is busy sorting out Bridget's 40th Birthday party event at the
moment, which is a murder dinner he is writing. I enjoyed his last one and I
think he is very cleaver that Willy :-) I expect you will gain his full
attention again once he has done that and sorted out moving house.

Kind regards,

Jonathan Bean
