I don't know whether you mean '1 Rank per Rank of that spell', or '1/Rank of the spell'. If it's 1 per Rank of the spell, then it's almost completely not worth doing, adding a minor penalty to something with a remarkably high base chance. I gave some thought to this approach some time ago, and decided that it wouldn't be a good plan, because it requires a lot of fiddling around with numbers. Personally, I prefer my own suggestion, which is that Witchsight is automatic, and you automatically see things rendered unseen, blended or invisible if the rank of that effect is equal or lower than your Rank in Witchsight. > > Incidentally does anyone know of any reason why the E&E version of > witchsight has a different base chance etc? Personally, I see no particular reason to change the Talent, just to bring it in line with another college. I play that the range of Witchsight is 150 ft, but E&E Witchsight goes as far as the eye can see. That seems to shore up the increased cost of the E&E version.
