Reply-To: dq@dq.sf.org.nz We've finally sorted out a location for Guild Meeting for the long term. Location: Student Union Lower Common Room Cost: $2 per head* Time: Room opens at 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm In the last few years we have sometimes missed out on a room at the University due to other groups booking it ahead of us. Michael has approached the AUSA formally to find out how to book a room in advance and resolve our wee problem. The AUSA now charges for rooms but there is no problem booking well in advance. The charge is $10/hour for a room plus up to $35.00 for custodian cost (the custodian costs are shared by all parties with rooms bookec so may sometime be less than $35 ). We are going to ask for $2 each to pay for the room and if there is any left over carry it forward for the next meeting. Reply-To: dq@dq.sf.org.nz Why don't we simply charge an annual membership fee, and abstract the costs of running this game from that? It's what most clubs do, and it seems to me a sensible idea.
