With my client (Eudora 4.2.1 on the Mac) I find that I can either: a) use my preferred quoting style (>) to compose mail, and see the rather odd looking messages I have been seeing where I can't see your quoting styles and can't tell who is saying what. b) turn on this new fangled vertical bar quoting style, and probably be sending nasty vertical bar type quotes to you all. On the second day a female Erelhien approaches the cherry tree. She is dressed in a reasonable quality, but obviously long unused, head-wife's outfit, marred only by a good quality weapons belt from which depends a high quality rapier and main gauche. She is leading a pack horse carrying a number of items. At a very respectful distance she stops, un-packs a weapons rack, removes the weapons and belt and places them upon the rack. She then unpacks from the horse, a small tent and a number of small boxes and utensiles. After the tent is setup and most of the items placed inside, a fire is set outside and while water boils, she busies herself within the tent. Once the water has boiled, she emerges, face correctly made up and dress corrected, carrying a small tray with the correct apparatus and ingredients for tea and a light afternoon snack upon it. She approaches in the fashion of one who, while of some ability, knows she is the presence of her betters and seeks only to offer the semblence of civilisation as best she is able. It is obvious that while the arrangements is not 100% correct, she is completely aware of her lacking in both ability and quality and is not seeking to be thought of as being above her true station. At the correct distance from both the personages currently seated beneath (or near) the tree, she stops and waits, the steam rising from the water and the aroma of the fresh green leaves wafting slowly in their direction. Sabrina will recognise her as Victoria, a fellow Guild member. -- see unsubscribe instructions in message headers -- From owner-dq@dq.sf.org.nz Fri Dec 3 14:43:07 1999 Received: (from bin@localhost) by mail.sf.org.nz (8.8.6/NZSFI-19980830) id OAA05498; Fri, 3 Dec 1999 14:36:52 +1300 Received: from qedweb.qed.co.nz ([203.97.23.140] (may be forged)) by mail.sf.org.nz (8.8.6/NZSFI-19980830) with ESMTP id OAA05494 for ; Fri, 3 Dec 1999 14:36:32 +1300 Received: by QEDWEB with Internet Mail Service (5.5.2448.0) id ; Fri, 3 Dec 1999 14:21:17 +1300 Message-ID: Subject: DQ Gods Meeting Agenda: December 1999 Date: Fri, 3 Dec 1999 14:21:17 +1300 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2448.0) Content-Type: text/plain From: Stephen Martin To: dq-announce@dq.sf.org.nz Sender: owner-dq@dq.sf.org.nz Errors-To: owner-dq@dq.sf.org.nz Precedence: bulk X-Loop: dq-announce@dq.sf.org.nz X-Requests: To unsubscribe from this list, or change your subscription address, send a request to dq-request@dq.sf.org.nz.
