Reply-To: dq@dq.sf.org.nz Although he is not on a dark circle related adventure, my character Barth Wader would like to do military service against the undead during this quarter (except the time spent adventuring). From the game mechanics point of view, this will just be training time in military skills. To flesh out this character background, does anyone know what suitable military organizations/campaigns are happening in relation to this? Barth is a member of an obscure and distant order of Samaelite knights, so would prefer joining with church knights. As he is a mage, the Michaelines wouldn't associate with him. A temporary possition in the Duke's army could also work. It would be simplest if the military unit he joins happens to have a fairly easy time of it during the crisis.
