Sorry, but after 70-odd messages in 4 days, having nothing since 5pm
yesterday is "odd, but not impossible". Just making sure the list
server-thing is OK.

Subject[dq] Witchsight etc
FromSally Jackson
DateThu, 01 Mar 2001 12:55:17 +1300
Since it's been bandied about, I wanted to check my intepretations, that
weren't mentioned, as being correct. :

At birth, Elves get witchsight as per wicca, ie at rank 0, and they then
have to rank it for it to be "effective". There should be a place on elven
charactersheets to have their elven witchsight rank recorded.

Wizards eye/ears have the equivalent rank of invisibility as that at which
the spell was cast.

I think one element of the "current problem" is that until now, there
wasn't a great need to rank witchsight (esp talent), and so many people
didn't. Now people realise this new need to get higher ranks, and within a
year or so may/will acheive higher ranks, then this transitional problem
may disperse.

Regards,
Sally

I just place it as a spell or other magic on the right of the character
sheet, with al the other non-colleg stuff <grin> - knowing it to be racial

Hi there everyone,

Light + Dark = Celestial
At the end of Celestial college, add 3 or 4 sentences on the principles used
in classifying light or dark aspect of creatures

Recovery from Stun
Amend rulebook to enable a stunned character that hasn't acted, to recover
from stun as their
action as well as at the end of the pulse. IE how it is
currently played but not as stated in the rulebook.

Weight of potions.
Can a Waters of Healing, weighing half a pint be drunk in a pulse?

Cold Iron and Casting
Amend the Cold Iron rules so that Cold Iron blocks casting as well as
preparing (section 7.6 page 26).

Fire College Speak to Fire Creatures
Add the duration of 20 mins + 10/rank

Add effects of Elemental Aspects (page 11) to the Cast Check Modifiers
(section 7.4 page 26). Also change wording of 7.4 to make it more explicit
that it's only dealing with spells, not rituals or talents (see annotation).

Witchsight v Invisibilty clarity
Ensure everyone knows that invisibility #never# hampers stealth.

Optional Initiative Varients.

I shall be running a medium adventure.
It will involve damage, danger, damage, confusion, damage, some token reward
and more damage.

I will not be at the meeting as I will be out LARPing.

William (with an order of extra damage)
