Subject[dq] Rune - almost there

The limited number of 'votes' indicate that the old version of Rune should
be ditched.

Most want the 'current' version included in the rulebook as a "playtest".
However, there doesn't seem to be a clear idea as to what the 'current'
version is, the player of the most playtested character (which most people
probably think of as the 'new Rune') stating a wish to try a newer re-write.

For the *immediate* future, 'include in the rulebook', in practical terms,
means "print reasonably high numbers off for distribution at the Guild
Meeting." I suggest that we don't currently have agreement on what this
should be. Feel free to convince those that have to physically make the
thing otherwise (in public please).

I move that we have a vote at the gods Meeting to appoint a Rune College
Co-ordinator to keep things consistent. The (decided on soon, we hope)
current version can be posted (Martin D has given general agreement to
posting DQ stuff on his site) on
the web, and distributed by email and photocopy on request.

Cheers
Errol

Subject[dq] I'm putting a group together to see the musical "Chicago".

Actually, firstly, apologies if you recieve this twice (or more) but I'm
wanting to spread coverage around as many of my friends and acquaintenances
as possible.

To follow on from the subject, the Jazz musical "Chicago" will be playing in
Auckland, at the Civic, from the end of September through to the end of
October. I want to go and see it and would love to have a large group to
join me. (it also makes it cheaper for everyone).

The performance date and time I've chosen is 6pm on Sunday the 14th of
October.
Tickets (for A Reserve) are normally $60 but are only $45 with group
discount.

I want to get in early so as to get good seats so I'd like people to let me
know if they want to come by this Sunday (the 26th of August) and I'll be
buying the tickets on Monday. Well unless I don't quite get the requisite 10
for a group in which case I might hold off until after I come back from the
U.S.A. (ie two more weeks) but please do get in early.
