Not quite, I don't think that it is vital that it is centered on the adept.
For the one liner, try:

1. The spell may be cast so as to conceal others besides the adept. 

I don't want to be limited it to only the adept is concealed, there are at
least 3 ways I can think of to do this, not all of which involve casting on
those to be concealed in the 'normal' fashion
