EP. Passed (7/5/3)
A list of changes to date is to be produced.
1) Adventures going out.
a) A hobbit called Veorn. The scroll of Essex the Mad is about to be
unearthed and he wants a party to get it before it falls into the hands of
an evil entity. The payment is in goats. William, High.
b) An ambassador from off-plane. His predecessor had been lost on our
plane. He may be in possession of something that could consume the plane.
He is also in posession of a boat and they want the boat back intact. Ben,
Tuesdays, Med/High, Lynfield, (8-9 sessions only).
c) A King has built a summer castle for his Queen but her life is in danger
by assassins. So the King wants a party to check the palace security. We re
allowed to take the treasury. Scott, Mangere, Mediumish, Mon/Tue/Fri
d) Duke Stefan Karamekos. His son is going on a ceremony and he wants a
party to protect him, without him knowing about it. Pay is 10,000sp each.
Simon, Mt Wgtn, Tues/Thurs, Medium+
e) Guild Security. A party is to go to Flugelheim/Artzdorf. For some
reason, they don't want anyone who have been there to go on this mission.
Goodman Carl, the merchant, wants a party to investigate loss of profits.
The winter has been unusually harsh with ships icelocked in Port Artz. The
payment is 10,000sp for the mission. Struan, Low, Mondays, Waterview.
f) A young human lass, dressed in working leathers, stroking an invisible
dog. Her master requires a party to escort her around the dog shows then
deliver the dog to a client. The pay is a goodly sum and they only need to
win three shows. Gorden, Malleable level, Tue/Wed, Blockhouse Bay
Awards
Stupidest
Kit/Sir Christopher - He turned people into fish, but didn't tell them it
would wear off.
Dramus - They had a big fight with the religious zealots to get an
artifact. They got it, but Dramus left it somewhere where it could be
stolen. It was.
Lizette - Speculated the odds of poking out Sier's eyes - while he was in
earshot.
Braegon. Was using his tunnelling thing and forgot it wasn't very nice to
air mages, causing them continuous pain.
Michael - For saving the bard.
Dalran - As a historical precedent. Note, he has changed his name to Rok.
Gok - grabbing an undivinated sword.
Winner - Lizette.
Smartest
Pent - The party were trying to sneak in disguised as guards and prisoners.
He created a wolly mammoth as a distraction.
Mortimer - Came up with a very complex plan to get out of an inescapable
plane, involving a masked ball and roleplaying.
Winner - Pent
Bravest
Clarissa - Four angels turned up. She tried to hold them off.
Lizette - Ambushed by people in sewers. Even though she couldn't fight, she
did her best to keep people going by administering potions and using her sap.
Eltain - Jumped in front of the church knights and said 'Stand and
Deliver'. Also tried to protect Clarissa even though he was very near death.
Winner - Lizette
Best Death
Lizette - For being ashed by Sier then resurrected.
Clarissa - She was at Ground Zero of a falling star but was stunned and
couldn't dodge.
Vivian - This time four angels of Raphael turned up and this time he didn't
get away (he had faced one on a previous mission)
Winner - Clarissa.
Five permanent deaths were possible but, as yet, there was no confirmation.
General Business
Please note that the next meeting date is the 7th of December, the first
Sunday of the month.

Subject | [dq] Rulebook. |
From | Mandos D Shadowspawn Esq |
Date | Wed, 17 Sep 2003 11:38:46 +1200 |
I think it is time we produced a new rulebook, given that at the last gods
meeting people were not sure what rules had changed and what the current
state of some of them is.
Since rules do not come into effect till the rulebook it seems like a good
time for one :-)
How do we get the ball rolling on this?

Subject | [dq] Gabrielite Communities / Church centres |
From | Chris Caulfield |
Date | Wed, 17 Sep 2003 14:45:13 +1200 |
Who has or runs Gabrielite churches or communities in their area / sphere of influence?
I'm trying to find a good place for religous study of ancient texts, religous mumbo jumbo etc
and would like somewhere to go other than the guild, my private library or other sites I have
already visited and studied therein.
Cheers Chris

From | Simon |
Date | Wed, 17 Sep 2003 17:42:56 +1200 |
I am looking for an E&E to cast one quickness spell for me (and almost
certainly more in the future). Any rank 7+, the higher the better (rank 20
would be heaven).
Price to be negoiated, but expect repeat business if reasonable.
Please contact Grendel Bettleknox, at the Sea Goddess Heaven.
