Subject[dq-announce] Guild Meeting, SGT, New Rules
FromStephen Martin
DateFri, 28 May 2004 09:12:14 +1200
2 weeks to the next guild meeting, please think about the
adventures you will be running next session.

The Seagate Times is open for contributions. Either Email
the editors as usual or drop into the editorial room and
submit your contributions on-line at:
http://lore.castle.pointclark.net/wiki/wiki.phtml?title=SGT804-3

A new rulebook will be released this guild meeting and comes
into effect as at the guild meeting (both in real and game
time).
The official list of changes for this edition is here:
http://lore.castle.pointclark.net/wiki/wiki.phtml?title=2004_Rule_Changes

I will ask a few copy shops for prices for printing and
optionally binding. It probably won't be cheap so if anyone
has contacts that can be tapped into to get us a good deal
then please step forward. This edition has 156 pages (78
leaves double-sided).

If you want a printed copy then please add your name to the
list that is here:
http://lore.castle.pointclark.net/wiki/wiki.phtml?title=Rule_Book_Orders
I'll be adding the bound and unbound quotes to here as I get
them.

Cheers, Stephen.

Subject[dq] Proofing Volunteers Required
FromStephen Martin
DateFri, 28 May 2004 11:41:16 +1200
I've volunteered a couple of people for proofing duty
already but if there are any real volunteers who are able to
proof read the new rules and supply feedback by mid next
week then let me know and I'll email you a copy.

I don't want to send out the draft version en-masse and I
ask all volunteers to delete the draft copies once the final
is produced to avoid having unofficial versions in
circulation and possibly being used.

I'll cut the proofing team off at the first 6 volunteers
(optimistically assuming I'll get that many), so please only
volunteer if you know you will actually get it done.

Cheers, Stephen.
