This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=____1086923479496_JFXkSyUEX) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit FROM ERROL Greetings all, I've added Future Rulebook editions - timing and procedures to General Business for the God's meeting http://lore.castle.pointclark.net/wiki/wiki.phtml?title=Guild_Meeting_June_2004 I think we need to talk about when the next edition (v1.5.1?) will be - a first pass for spelling and grammar errors, as well as rule inconsistencies has been done. More discussion and work (plus a vote or two) is needed before these adjustments can be published. I also think we need to lay out the (decision-making)process between Rule changes being voted-in, and a new edition being published. I thought we already had a vote for spy to go into the rules and it was decided that more work was needed. More feedback was also given on thief, and a new version was requested for thief, and I thought for spy. On the other hand, recent events have proved that my memory isn't that good on God Meeting decisions. Could someone please check what we agreed last time we discussed spy/thief? I believe your memory is correct (or at least it matches mine) about the last gods meeting descision, but since then Mandos has released updated versions of each and sought feedback. I think that the latest versions are still available via the dragonquest website. http://www.dragonquest.org.nz btw If you have agenda items you want raised then please follow Errols excellent example and add them on the Wiki (as well as posting it here for discussion). That way the process is not dependent on one person (currently me) picking up your email, adding it in and then remembering to print it out. As _may_ have happened 4 or 5 times in the past. :) Of course the flaw in this plan is that I can no longer discretely edit out the proposals I don't want. I guess my corrupt-evil-despot skills still need work. We should possibly document some guidelines and ettiquette for the agenda. Such as not deleting what other people have added. But it has a publicly visible audit trail, maybe common sense will prevail and such guidelines will not be needed. Related to that, I have flicked the switch and you now have to be logged in to edit the content of the Wiki. If you don't have a login you should be able to follow the directions and make one for yourself. If you have any problems with this then let me know. See you all tomorrow. Cheers, Stephen. ----- Original Message Follows ----- > I thought we already had a vote for spy to go into the > rules and it was decided that more work was needed.
