Kelsie's bestiary is very nice. It has the additional creatures found in
the DragonQuest 2nd Edition 2.08a PDF (to which I meant to give
reference, rather than Poor Brendans Almanac which lacks a bestiary
altogether), from which I borrowed some of the more adventure-oriented
creatures. It does have some OCR scanning errors, and is missing the
reaction and aspect tables. In layout and typesetting, font choice,
etc., it is superior to my attempts, and has been compressed in some
elegant manner. Neither of us have the encounter tables.

I would suggest begging Kelsie for a copy of her excellently
laid out and well indexed bestiery which has the benefit of some added
mythical creatures if your are looking for a bestiery

		Subject: [dq] Bestiary

Sourcing a bestiary is a bit of a problem for some GMs.
		=20
There are some who use the DQ II rules, some who use the
Unofficial GM Guide (available in PDF from several places), some who use
internet-generated resources (the bestiary in "Poor Brendans Almanac" is
one of the better copies), and some who use photocopies. I understand
that Ross was working on a bestiary a few months ago, but haven't heard
anything recently.
		=20
I have a copy of the source text of the bestiary used
for the Unofficial GMs Guide, scanned from the DQ II rulebook. I have
tidied up the scanning errors and reformatted it slightly to make it
easier to read. It is available in PDF (for using), or in Word (for
criticising).
		=20
		Ditto the Demons / ArchAngels.=20
		=20
In both cases, I've made a couple of changes as it was
primarily intended for my own use. If people actually want to use these
copies, I have a list of the changes, and they can be reversed easily if
the changes aren't desirable. Most of the changes are - tidied the
aspect/magic summary table, added human & shapechanger, updated
halfling, added half a dozen mammals (mainly adventuring creatures -
rhinos and wolverines, not sheep & walrus), and gave Horses MD like the
rest of the hooved mammals. I've also restructured vampire & dragon with
no intention of changing their meaning, to make them easier to read.
		=20
Happy to email them to people. If someone is keen, I can
send them the PDFs to post on a web site. Stephen? Mandos? Anyone? Or is
this also copyright stuff?
		=20
Collectively, the bestiary and demon guide are 1.1 Mb.
		=20
		Have a great weekend.
