Quiet down all. I've an official announcment to make. It appears that
there have been unprovoked attacks on senior nobles throughout the
baronies today. Most significant was the attack on King Ulric of the
western Kingdom. He appears to have been saved by heroic self-sacrifice
by his father, Duke Frederick of Aquila. The Michaeline cathedral they
were in during the undead attack was burnt to the ground in the
resulting exchange of fire. Other attacks on Counts, Grafs, and key
March Lords have been attributed to Rashak's forces. It appears that
some nobility have taken the opportunity to create additional mayhem by
settling old scores in the confusion. We advise guild members to favour
contracts with the winning side in what may become quite a messy
succession conflict.
