Summary of recent despatches from Brastor

Reports have reached us of huge advances being made by the Aquilan forces
deep through Dark Circle (DC) controlled territory SE of Brastor.  Several
companies of Heavy Cavalry have forced a breakthrough deep into DC lines. 
This breakthrough has seen Sir Gaius commit a significant part of his
mobile reserves to exploit the opportunity and spirits are high that the
last vestiges of DC troops will soon be eliminated and our brave lads will
be home by the New Year.   Alliance troop losses have been light with
heavy casualties inflicted on the few DC forces encountered.


Additionally

Reports of sporadic fighting in Brastor itself have been received of late
indicating renewed activity by the DC forces. The fighting has come down
from the South Eastern (SE) hills and is now in the SE towns. Heavy
Infantry reserves have been called up and the surge is expected to be
repulsed with little effort.    Few reports of Alliance casulaties have
been recieved but complete destruction of any DC forces encountered has
been declared.

Brastor Town is seeing the return of some settlers from the south eastern
parts of Brastor Holdings. Most blame the recent attacks by Dark Circle
minions, which they claim are not as isolated as some military would have us
believe. The DC forces are getting bolder, and stronger.
 
Several refugees also claimed to have been intimidated by security forces,
and told to return to their lands or "steps will be taken". 

Alliance forces refused to comment on the civil administration of Brastor.

Must be desperate attempt by Rashak to cause confusion in our rear areas.

Nothing to worry about. The DC forces are being massacred.
