I'm running the Low to Bunny overflow adventure and I have a couple more=20
slots for players for anyone who didn't make it to the Guild Meeting.

We are playing on Monday's but not until the 26th.
Also currently we don't have a centralish location to play at either.

Adventure intro will follow (once I've written it :))

TTFN, Struan.

Subject[dq-pub] Stupidest Award as Soothsaying?
FromCosmo
DateMon, 12 Sep 2005 14:39:13 +1200
While I'll admit to not paying full attention at the Meeting yesterday
and even leaving early, it was only when I examined a scroll that
someone passed to me during the meeting that I realised how remiss I had
been.

It was a Stupidest Adventurer "Award" marked with my name, and rather
than some simple malediction or Runes of Doom, the date inscribed on it
was 1st Blossum 805WK. Not only that, it was handed to me before the
nominations for the awards for the season were even opened.

Now I recall some misinterpretation of my actions, along with the
fanciful recollections of a certain pixie-giant, might have garnered me
such an accolade a couple of seasons ago, but the idea that someone is
that confident I will do something to be worth this award in two months
time, that anyone is going to find out about and while I am not even
employed for the season, troubles me greatly.

Be assured, if any of my private endeavours are deflected by this
shoddy, shoddy attempt at, I'm sure I don't know what; intimidation?
misdirection? I hereby vow that I will see the parties responsible
strung up by their heels.

Now, if someone will kindly direct me to where I might collect the
healing potions mentioned, I have pressing business to attend to.

Don't worry Clarissa, this is merely an example of penny-pinching by the
guild accountants, not libel by the astrologers. By post-dating their
notes of hand, they cannot be redeemed until well after they are earned.
I think you will find that the guild functionaries will not accept your
award until the month of Blossom. On the bright side, if you win an
award for Smartest before this date, the two cancel out, and the stain
on the blemishes on your reputation is lifted.

Vx.

It is simply a recognition of your outstanding achievement in the area.

Be proud, you deserve it.

Is there an award for carrying Clarissa off yet another battlefield?

Too common an event to memorialise with an award :-) It's like watching
Gerald die, and beating up Aim's Avatar, everyone has had a go at it.

Dear Tussock,

Modesty prevents me from claiming such a commendation when you've taken
care to show everything I could wish to see, and more, in that
capacity. Indeed you have probably forgotten more than I will ever know
regarding this topic.

And believe me when I say I cannot tell how much I've appreciated it...

Love,
Clarissa.

Sorry you have me confused with Delran or maybe Zool, I win the bravest
Award most often :-)

Such confusion on your part does fit with the award :P

And then what would anyone have to talk about? I'd rather have the 26
months of interest that I'm clearly owed on the 1000sp of withheld
goods. Though I'd settle for a Restorative to make up the set. For the
inconvenience, of course.

Hi,

I'll be running an extreme game around Rashak this session. I have =
talked to Chris C. on behalf of the campaign committee and Michael Y. =
and have recieved some notes including "The Dark Circle and Environs =
GM's Guide Summer 805." I am also perusing recent and some not so recent =
Seagate Times' and the DQ Wiki.

However information seems to be scant.

If you as a GM have information/ideas on how you would like to see =
events progress, that you would like to see included in my game, or that =
you think may be helpful, then please feel free to contact me.

If you have hinted at to players or settled on as a campaign any info =
please let me know also. eg. What causes the Dark Circle effect? Who is =
Rashak a Priestess of? How has Masada avoided destruction in meteorite =
showers etc. so far? Who originally built Masada? etc. etc.

I have ideas on this stuff, but if something is already decided (or is =
desired) I'm happy to work with that.

If as a player or GM you know of highly powerful or battle magic items =
I'd be interested in hearing of those also. Particularly Sigismund's =
Royal Regalia and items that create or turn off very powerful or large =
area effects.

Please do not reply to the group (or to this email address if pos) but =
