I probably should be also on there given I'm GM'ing regularly.

 fter read the various comments I'm going to retain the GM contact section within the Players Guide but remove the phone numbers.

Or should it be (1 + Rank) / 2 x Base number of days.

:-)

to be honest either is fine by me - I just like the solution which adds 
the least brackets,
