Subject[dq] Celestial Questions

1. What %light level is required to give negatives to hit to light
sensitive creatures (orcs/gobos) ?

2. Since deamons and elementals are not aspected light or dark does this
mean light swords do no damage to deamons and dark swords do no damage
to angels. Ditto light and dark walls. I had always imagined them doing
extra damage which is why the angels have sparkly swords and the deamons
swords that are black as night. Does powers of dark not equal dark
aspect ?

Cheers Noel ( currently playing a celestial )

You got it.

Indeed they do not. Dark and light Aspect are in general not related
to goodness and badness,

cheers,

Yep, no bonus, but I expect any sword so boosted will behave as it otherwise
would (although unless it was magical it probably won't do much). Haven't
tried it myself.

Both sides (which include semi-informed mortals) have indeed co-opted parts
of the _image_ of the true aspects of Light and Dark. Mainly it's show and
perception, if an angel (or Isil Eth) is throwing about Holy Light or
somesuch, then it's the Holiness that is doing the hurting. See also Bolt of
Starfire - the pretty sparkly stuff is a side effect of the starfire.

Note that Web gets anything not the opposite of its element, so ties up
(momentarily) demonics, golems, elementals etc.

Also, if they are celestial mages (applies to greater undead especially)
that will give them a L/D aspect, as will (generally) association with
celestial L/D outside the standard Alusian colleges (e.g. Moon Goddess
avatars).

Dark sword: just don't do it! :-)

Cheers
Errol
