The Choker that allows extra counter spells? I'd like 2 and will pay 10K
each.

I will bid higher, it might enourage someone it sell their 300sp item. :)

Let's not start another public discussion of valuations.
Specific comments and suggestions would be better sent to the relevant GM with reference to the
actual writeup.
Bar stories are always exaggerated.

Has anyone actualy said they're willing to sell them yet? I just feel we're
overdoing the bidding without knowing how many if any are available. It may
turn out that their are 10 for sale and people have committed to huge prices
for the first 4 and the next 6 sell really cheaply. Or there may only be one
for sale in which case we're going to really have to bid.

Speaking of Counterspells Lizette ... is it your intention to rank
those oddball ones? Or do I have to seek out whomever gave them to

I think I'd get lynched if I ranked the strange ones before I get a few more

Those characters planning to attend the Silberton Festival of the Arts
(as patrons, not security), could you please let me know, or sign on
under "Significant Guests" on the Wiki scribe notes page.

I'm sure that a "corporate box" could be booked by the SAG on your
behalf, along with salubrious accommodation and dining in Uptown or the
Jewellers' Quarter, well away from the riff-raff. I'll try to whip up a
summary of the programme & significant events as they unfold.

In addition, please let me know if you are happy to be known to the
party, and if you are available to cast magics for the party, and if so,
what.

Aqualina, Logan & Braegon have expressed interest so far, including
resurrections as often as required - amazing what faith they show...

Subject[dq] Crystal Spring
FromClare Baldock
DateWed, 13 Dec 2006 10:36:30 +1300
Hi again,

I asked this a while ago, but maybe someone can help now. I am
interested in the hobbits who moved to Crystal Spring in the last few
years. The wiki (http://www.dragonquest.org.nz/dqwiki/index.php/
Crystal_Spring) says Winter 805 but the scribe notes from that season
show nothing about it (though I did only skim read them). When I
spoke to Jono he said it was about 5 years ago, but looking at
earlier scribe notes I also haven't found anything. Are any of the
party members about who can help me with remembering when this happened.

cheers,

Clare

I'm still very keen to get one of the chokers that adds to a counterspells
duration. I believe they're worth 300sp on the writeup but I'm more than
willing to pay 10 times that for one. If theres more than one available then
I'll buy a few.

As far as I know no ones admitted to having one of these for sale at the
moment. But whoever actualy makes them should sell them directly to the
guild. He'd probably be able to retire after one guild meeting.

Found some references in old SGTs, have added them to the wiki and included below.

Cheers, Stephen.

Special Reminder
    ...
It should also be noted that the Hobbits from the small village south of Crystal Springs will
be spending most of spring in Seagate. This is because of increased danger from the Fastness
of Gywillion.

Hobbit Village Moves to Carzala
The hobbit village of Sunnynook has recently relocated to a valley a couple a days south of
the Carzalan village of Crystal Springs. The villagers are negotiating with our Duke to extend
his protection to them. These skilled artisans may well be adding a new style to our textiles
and ceramics.

She did just admit to learning "a few things" from an animated block of
carved wood.....a large clay statue.....and enchanted pile of rocks.

I think that the reason for the rumor in the Seagate Times is amply
explained with that statement.
