Subject[dq-announce] Last appeal for players
FromKeith Smith
DateMon, 19 Mar 2007 06:36:10 +1200
Looking to see if there are still any stray players without a game
who are interested in playing in Mangere Bridge this session. Should
be starting this Tuesday if I can get enough interest, but can move
to Fridays or Mondays if I have to. Low to medium,

Also, are there any medium slots free? Just in case?

Thanks

Keith

Guild Meeting Minutes
1st Fruit 807
Campaign Notes:

1) Dark Circle - It has collapsed and the spell effects are
essentially gone. There may however be some local pockets of undead activity.

2) Extraplanar links are harder. This affects contacting one's Power
and many methods of Planar Transport.

Adventures Going Out

1) Crystal Ship (see entry in Wiki). High, Mandos, Thursdays, Adventure full

2) Colonel Moltov, representative of Czar Peter the Great of Ruska. -
requires Guild military leaders to assist in stopping border
incursion. They have plenty of soldiers but not enough commanders.
Game will be run bi-weekly with turns being posted by e-mail. Greg Graydon.

3) Guild Security - need people to help locate cleaning equipment as
the cupboard somehow turned into a portal. It has been determined to
be stable and two way. Low/newbie. Karen, Tuesdays, Auckland University.

4) Clementine - Needs help fixing magical foci that was broken a
dozen or so years ago. Highish, Jono, Wednesday.

5) One more slot available in investigation mission run by Callum on
Thursdays. It is recommended that Guild members attending be able to
bounce - presumably quickly back from hardship.

6) Halley the Huntress - Wants revenge on the Guilderstein Family and
requires a party to help create havoc and wreck mayhem. Gorden, High,
Wed/Thurs.

7) Iolaus - Now that the Dark Circle has gone, requires a party to
help restart the portal link between the Sea of Grass and Rangifero
and to check out that area for loose undead. Overflow adventure,
Keith, Low, Mon/Tues (May or may not be going depending on numbers).

Awards

Smartest
1) Aryan - Came up with some good plans but mitigated them all with
the command to 'Charge'. Is nominated for non-charge plans.

2) Emilio - for getting the hairs from a pegasus. Basically by
getting bards to tell heroic stories, minstrals to sing, and a famous
horsegroomer. The result was they were able to get the required hairs
without risking life and limb.
3) Sam the Ork - arranging to adventure with three women.

4) Sau Rus - arranged to surround a graveyard with a circle of
adventurers etc so when the adversay turned up, they were able to
pummel it to death rather quickly.

Winner - Emilio

Bravest
1) Basalic - for staying up long enough to finish off the vampire.

2) Veor - for getting stuck into everything

3) Kit - When combating flying vampires, he led by example by leaping
off the flying boat and getting stuck in - without wings or featherfall.

4) Albion - When in combat, was stunned by a cold iron bolt, doing
massive damage, but yanked it out and continued fighting.

5) The women of Sam's party - agreeing to adventure with Sam the Ork
- regardless of his reputation with the ladies.

Winner - The ladies in Sam's party

Stupidest
1) Emilio - for the dragon catching plan involving catapults and a
net. It failed horribly.

2) Viola - For admitting who destroyed twelve of Engalton's catapults.

3) Beltain. - admitting to accusations made

Winner - Emilio

Best Death
No nominations received so no award.

Other Business
Engalton is looking for those renegades who wrecked havoc on catrapults.

The Bound Gold Ingot pub has acquired a stone statue.

Meeting Closed
