The river, like the rest of Alusia, doesn't really exist. It's simply a setting.
A setting that is largely unknown. This provides an opportunity for it to be
discovered, which is a standard device of adventure stories.

The only purpose that this thread serves is to produce an answer to the
adventurous question 'What lies at the source of this waterway?'. Once
answered, that quest is no longer available.
