The events of Autumn 806 were not communicated to those that claim to own
her? I hope that this is a out-of-game oversight/communication issue.

The Pride of Fingolfin (Sea Goddess Haven) is floating outside Newhaven and
is being refitted by elves back to being a Battleship.

Gosh that's nice of them but when are they going to return it and how much
rent are we getting?
Also what is the blue book on it especially now that it is modified and just
which of the current owners agreed to the hireage ( I'm working on a master
rank for Asparagus growing).

Subject: [dq] Renaissance Colour Terms

This is a "did-you-know" post. I'll assume most of you also don't care, but
for those that do.

The wide range of colour terms that we use in English appear to be quite
recent (there are similar findings in other languages too). Many colour
terms were introduced as dyes were found to consistently produce a single
shade. This means that the vocab was much more limited in Renaissance times
(and many philologists thought that colour vision only evolved in the last
2,000 years). GMs with limited colour vocabs (like me) need not feel so bad
!

-----------------------------------------

Recorded colours up to 1500:

Black 700

Green 700
