Gods Meeting Minutes

1) Is Evil Eye a Curse? =96 Yes
2) Is Forbiddance entities only? Unresolved. A proposal is to be raised
3) Courtier/Troubadour =96 Wording is to be changed=20
to allow specialisation when gaining a rank
4) Philosopher =96 Confirm that existing rule is to=20
stand regarding the acquisition of extra area below Rank 10.
5) The following are an exception to the=20
=91Masterwork approved by GM rule=92: Adventuring &=20
Languages. Artisan still has the requirement but it is less rigorous.
6) Alchemist =96 add times for making antidotes/medicines
7) Healer =96 Make suggested changes to skin graft etc.
8) Spy =96 Spoken language bonuses stack
9) A cost for lockpicks is to be added
10) Clothing does not count as encumberance
11) The range for Extinguish Fire is a radius
12) Fireproofing =96 change Hypothermia to Heat Stroke
13) Disarming needs looking at
14) Troubadour =96 add composition as an ability
15) Combat =96 Add prepare and cast to definitions.=20
Cast should be listed as a fire action, Magic=20
Resistance is a magical pass action. A magic in combat section is to be=
 added.

A list is to be made of anything else to be looked at for proposals.
The aim is to get the new rulebook out in June.



Adventures Going Out

adventurers to go into the Lands of Chaos and=20
explore. Information is required on the political setup
2)      Rosemary =96 Fixing the slow portal to Elfenburg

Keith offered to run an overflow if required.




Best Death

Eric =96 Not getting out of the area when Death arrived
Gok =96 Daed a portal and discovered it would kill=20
him in the usual manner. So he touched it and=20
ended up being spread over fourteen planes.=20
Divine Intervention was required to get him back.
             Winner =96 Eric



Bravest

Imri =96 A water mage,  went into a courtyard=20
dedicated to Aim and sacrified her College to help the mission
             Winner =96 Imri



Stupidest

Dwork =96 Kept saying =93That won=92t work=94 when some=20
really good ideas were suggested
             Winner =96 Dwork



Smartest

Braegon =96 There was some entity driving a dragon=20
as a puppet. He used an item to disconnect the link.
Darien =96 There were two dozen Calimar protecting=20
an elder brain. Healing lava was healing the=20
brain. Darian was able to null the agony effect=20
then null the lave flow. He also had several good=20
ideas to halve the opposition.

General Business

Owing to a lack of articles, there was no Seagate=20
Times ready.  It is intended to publish a web=20
issue in a week after the meeting. It was also=20
suggested that there should be a pr=E9cis attached=20
to each set of scribe notes that could be published in the Times.

My recollection for two of the decisions are slightly different from that
recorded below.

 

I recall the following:

 

5) Artisan and Adventuring skills do NOT require master works to reach ranks
8, 9 and 10.

 

 

15) Add to definitions in Combat s.3.1:

 a. Prepare spell as a magical Pass Action

 b. Cast (a spell) is both a Fire Action and a Magical Action

 c. Active Resistance as a magical Pass Action

 d. Concentrate (Actively) as a magical Pass Action

 e. Active Talents require a Pass Action to utilize (passive Talents are
always in effect) (s7.2 How magic works, paragraph 2, sentence 6)
