Hey all.
With the guild meeting coming up I thought I'd float a proposal and see wha=
t people think.
That of changing the price of Silvered & True Silvered armour.
Currently it's +30k & +180k to the price of the armour respectively.
I'd like to propose it changes to the following.
Silvered armour adds +10,000sp onto the cost of the armour.
True Silvered adds +50,000sp onto the cost of the armour.
This is for two reasons.
1.=A0 Lowering the cost may have the effect of encouraging medium level cha=
racters to invest into silvered/true silvered armour, rather than feeling t=
he need that they 'have' to get shaped armour to get anything better than l=
eather.
2.=A0 As a GM, it is very difficult to include silvered/true silvered armou=
r in the loot without completely exceeding the loot guidelines, as at curre=
nt, one suit of true silvered armour is nearly the entire loot allowance re=
commended for a medium level game.=A0 Even silvered armour if it is of a pl=
ate type and well armour smithed is half the allowance.
These are rather arbitrary numbers, not based on weight or anything, but ou=
r current system isn't based on weight either, and at the end of the day, a=
number has to be picked.
