One of the problems as I see it with hoopy magic armour vs TS plate is peop=
le ignoring or glossing over Specs that degrade the mage armour. GMs take p=
ity on characters whose shaped armour gets dented and instead of roleplayin=
g the consequences CPD a fix.
=20
In reguards to balancing the armour values prices desirability etc
=20
what about coming at it from another angle?
=20
e.g hoopy magic armour which does not imped magically energy gives the wear=
er a -15 to MR=2C whereas TS -10=2C Silvered -5=2C bronze 0=2C Cold iron +5
=20
So a caster in hoopy mage armour can still take the physical damage and cas=
t at no penalties but is more vunerable to magical attacks (which he should=
be training to defeat).
=20
As to rarety the GM should look to the antagonists how rare are they?
=20
Church knights? Common as muck mage plate and TS plate wouldn't be found.
=20
Hero of the plane? Extemely rare expect hoopy shit to drop.
