I've added this topic to the GMs agenda as it has been discussed a bit off-line over the past
couple of months.
Note that this topic/discussion is not just for GMs, it affects all of us. But it's easier to
start such discussions with a smaller group.
Why do we have the guild meetings?
What do we want out of them?
Is the current structure the best way to achieve what we want?
At the GMs meeting I would like to establish if we are all on much the same page or if we have
opposed factions who will never agree on a middle ground.
For those of you for whom this is completely out of the blue, some of the comments,
complaints, and observations leading to this have been along the lines of:
* Numbers at guild meetings are declining
* There are very few adventures I can sign up on at the meeting
* I can't get on an adventure
* The meetings are a waste of time
* I find the awards section offensive at best
* The coffee and chat with friends before/after the meeting is the best part of it
...
No doubt we could all add our own issues/comments to this list.
Please have a think about this between now and Sunday, and we can see where everyone stands on
the issue then.
Cheers, Stephen.
