I really didn't like the Dark Circle as a GM or as a player. As a GM I =
found it disempowering as it seemed it was something I couldn't actually =
influence and had to fight to find anything out about (and even then all =
I ever got was a list of a few monsters). It reduced the amount of GMing =
I wanted to do. It wasn't many months of impending doom it was years of =
impending doom. As a player it seemed that it was impossible to actually =
do anything meaningful about it.
If we want to do something like it again then it needs to be organised =
way better so that *all* the GMs actually know what is going on (not =
just the ones on the campaign committee or whatever secret mailing list =
is running the thing) and can engage in whatever event it is.
