Hi folks,
Just spreading the word about BattleCry.
BattleCry is a weekend of gaming happening in Auckland over the 19th and =
20th of February 2011.
Apart from all the wargaming, card gaming, board gaming and larping =
there usually is a 2 day roleplaying tournament.
Registrations are open for signing up. Game blurbs are being added to =
the website on a daily basis and a timetable is coming together. All =
those who have pre-registered before the event will get to opt in to =
their favourite games in each session, getting first dibs. If you want =
to check out some of the game blurbs head to the roleplaying page on the =
BattleCry website here: http://battlecry.co.nz/Roleplaying
We have a large list of confirmed GM's already. We have Jared, Scott, =
Matthew, Graham, Gary (from the America Club), Shane, Lyon (new gamers =
to Auckland), Jim (from the DQ Guild) and Anthony + 2 others from the =
RPGA DnD group. That's 11 GM's who are available for all of the weekend =
so far. The GM's have begun playtesting their awesome games.
We have some fantastic prizes already donated from Steve Jackson Games, =
Evil Hat Productions, Mongoose Publishing, and the Book Dragon which are =
listed on the RPG Prize page on the website. Plus BattleFront, Fantasy =
Flight and Wizards of the Coast are also donating goodies. And more =
sponsors being finalised as I type.
If you are thinking about coming along, please pre-register. No payment =
needed when you fill in the on-line registration form here: =
http://battlecry.co.nz/rego It just helps us make sure we have enough =
games on offer each session.
This year's event was superly successful and we hope that 2011 will be =
even more so.
And if you pre-register and pay before the event you get extra raffle =
tickets to go in the draw for further super goodies.
Games for Games! See you at BattleCry!
Regards,
Karen
Please pass this onto other roleplayers so we can spread the word...
