Anyone can see that a whole bunch of us like playing in certain groups
regularly, and I think this is as inevitable as the decay of moral
standards in young people, or the parlous state of music today, which is
not a patch on the proper music of yesteryear.
Insanity, I know, but I think it would be worthwhile mixing things up a
little. If I look around, I can see that the group that is cyclically DMed
by Miles, Jeff and Jeff has grown to as many as 8 or 9 players at a time,
and this is regular. I merely point this out because it's a clear example,
there are plenty of others.
I suppose what I'm saying is that the Guild lets us play with lots of
different people, hardly any of whom are axe murderers, and it would seem a
waste not to take advantage of it.
At the Meeting on Sunday, try to break your gaming habits and try someone
new. It may be as good as a rest.
