The Drow have conquered most of Southern Aladarbut are not doing so
well due to the minor black hole that was Zumalar. The fact that the
humans have fortified every 20-30 miles is a bit of a shock (why in
Ipos' name would you do that) and that the area is crawling with
greater undead that resist control is an even bigger one. The Drow
want more reinforcements and now, please.

The Drow are also paying for every humanoid in the western kingdom to
rise up and make trouble now. Most of the fighting should be against
these new auxilleries as the Drow proper consilidate in Southern
Aqulia.

The Western Kingdom meanwhile have not reacted with a uniformity and
sense of purpose outside the range of Blitzkreig's lungs. Lords have
been more concerned with defending their holdings than aiding people
who were enemies recently and may well be so again. Several Aladarians
who were relocated to Aquila may be sending peicemeal forces south to
protect their old lands which isn't helping much as various other
lords refuse passage and old fueds get stirred up.

The King is meanwhile trying to raise an army and is getting more
excuses than troops at the moment.
