Not at the moment - would it be a good idea to make one?   I did start 
setting up a GMail Circle a while back but I'm not sure if it's suitable 
for the job.  If there's enough demand for a DQ Facebook group page, 
I'll set one up.

dragonquest.org.nz is not redirecting traffic - old links will be dead. Nothing I can do about
that right now but maybe in the future. I have a feeling that we can register a domain move
with google and they'll redirect searches.


History is History!
I had issues with the size of the database during transfer or more specifically with the size
of the table that stores the text of every version of every page - it was up to over 900Mb
After wrestling with the wiki maintenance scripts for far too long I eventually purged all of
the old versions of every page which reduce the table to a more manageable 60Mb.
The History entries are there so you can see who changed it when but you can no longer see
what they changed.
I do have a backup with full history that I can serve up from my home pc if anyone really
needs it.
I'll probably have to do this again from time to time to control growth of the database, to
help reduce how often I need to do this, please take care with your edits.
Edit the relevant section rather than the whole page when you can.
Preview your changes and correct any issues before saving.

MediaWiki upgrade - upgraded from version 1.15 to 1.20 - looks much the same to me.

Lost days - some changes between Tuesday and Wednesday night have been lost. Sorry!
Bad timing of me changing ISP on Tuesday which broke the replication and then the dq server
going offline before I got it fixed up.

We can have some other stuff on the new server, we have email with webmail access and list
managers if anyone wants a <name>@dq-nz.org address.

We don't have a hard limit on disc space on the server nor on bandwidth but fair use policy
applies - which means they will squish us if we come to their attention by abusing it.

Let me know of any issues which you encounter. There'll almost certainly be some I haven't
encountered yet.

convinced this social networking stuff is going to take off.
