Bishop Rowan is looking for a worthy client of warlike mien. Such a client
would be someone who does not prey upon the weak and innocent, and it would
be nice if they had an interest in protecting the downtrodden etc.
The appropriate applicant will receive a reasonably fuck-off bastard sword
and such support as is reasonable for a religious patron to offer - at
least until he gets fed up or his funds fail, anyway.
You don't have to be a worshipper of Chantris, but on the other hand if
you're undead, pacted to a devil or traffic with forces from the blackest
pits of Tartarus or beyond the outer darkness, bugger off. You don't have
to be respectful to Chantris, but on the other hand, the weapon is sacred
to her, so it seems unlikely that things would go terribly well for the
wielder of such a weapon while they are bad mouthing who it is holy to.
Darwin award, I guess.
By the way, I will not be offering the weapon to a high level character,
however deserving.
Anyway, those people who have a fighting character, decent and true, and
who can wield a bastard sword, email me.
