I know how to get rooms booked on campus via the Uni gaming club America... in fact they co-host a gaming day every 2nd Sunday of the month... the rooms are rent free. There is some parking around Uni that is free... some is metered.. there is a uni carpark with costs $6 for the day... and it would just be down the hill to Queen Street for coffee etc afterwards. ... just a radical thought.... and then I can come every time... since I'm the organiser of the gaming days which is why I haven't been to the meetings for ages :) -Karen On 28/01/2016 14:59, Jacqui Smith wrote: > On 1/26/2016 11:08 AM, Julia McSpadden wrote: > >> I think that the meetings are important events for keeping the club together and we should continue to have four meetings in some form or another > > Agreed... > > One cheaper alternative may be to hire a classroom at a convenient > school - seems about right in terms of size, and generally comes with > parking. > > This depends on good relations with said school - is anyone currently > teaching? Starflower was born there! And it's a good plan in my opinion. Means we could minimise fees to the cost of hosting +SGT for those who want printed copies.
