As another option, we could go back to our roots and borrow a
classroom at Auckland uni for free. I know how to get rooms booked on
campus via the Uni gaming club America... in fact they co-host a gaming
day every 2nd Sunday of the month... the rooms are rent free.

There is
some parking around Uni that is free... some is metered.. there is a uni
carpark with costs $6 for the day... and it would just be down the hill
to Queen Street for coffee etc afterwards.

... just a radical
thought.... and then I can come every time... since I'm the organiser of
the gaming days which is why I haven't been to the meetings for ages :)

One cheaper alternative may be to hire a classroom at a convenient=20
school - seems about right in terms of size, and generally comes with=20
parking.

This depends on good relations with said school - is anyone currently=20
teaching? Can find out hire costs?

I have distinct memories of Guild meetings being in the University
Student Union Common Rooms... Starflower was born there!

And it's a good plan in my opinion. Means we could minimise fees to the
cost of hosting +SGT for those who want printed copies.

Maybe it is time to look at electronic media for the seagate times. a PDF
or a facebook page, or both. Only printing where necessary.

The western leader / herald / RNZ all come to be via the internet we could
too

I am absolutely positive that the rest of the guild would get a real kick
out of seeing a photo of Steve's game fighting the screwed up handie towel
on facebook =F0=9F=8F=B9=F0=9F=98=81
