If you then want a copy I can ask in the boardgame groups.

Subject[dq] Advice on Hex sheets

Hey,
I am looking to order some laminated hex sheets.
I am thinking A1 sheets (roughly 600 mm by 850 mm), as that will fit on mos=
t tables and have enough hexes to allow some tactical movement.
Now what size hexes? My old (since lost, grr) sheets were 25mm across the fl=
ats.Figures however have become obese, and bases are now more likely to be =
30mm across.(and my more heroic figures are 40mm across the base, sigh).
Any advice?=C2=A0- hexes have to be large enough for modern figures, but no=
t so big old figures get lost=C2=A0- a hex sheet should have enough hexes t=
o allow movement, and some range=C2=A0- the sheet has to fit on a table=C2=
=A0- two sheets should fit on a table
so what size hexes? (please specify if measuring across the flats or across=
 the points),=20

NB: Number of hexes on a single A1 sheet:
=20
| size in mm | number of hexes on a sheet |
| points | flats | across | down |
| 30 | 25 | 25 | 32 |
| 35 | 30 | 21 | 27 |
| 40 | 34 | 17 | 24 |
| 45 | 39 | 15 | 21 |
| 50 | 44 | 13 | 19 |
