Hi all,
I hope this is ok to advertise here. This coming weekend
the Uni club America is having it's president's con weekend.
Here are
the details for KemysCon 2017.
Venue: Auckland University campus,
Commerce A building.
Dates: Fri 21st, Sat 22nd, Sun 23rd April
Sat
9am to 9:30pm
Sun 9am to 6pm
$20 for weekend, $10 per whole day or
$5 after 1pm (Cash only, no eftpos)
Lots of board gaming and
roleplaying all weekend. Lots of prize draws and goodies given away in
every rpg session.

Friday
21st April - Larp "Black Box"
Space for 14 players (still taking
bookings)
Costume lite, free event, new player friendly. Message me
for details.
The year is 2613 and human kind has taken more than a few
steps on its interstellar journey. The Federation has colonized,
terraformed and establish contact with alien worlds. Humanity has
created FTL travel, discovered countless carbon based forms of life and
brought our advanced technology to half a dozen different and distinct
alien species. Altogether the scope and scale of Human accomplishment is
vast and bountiful, it has brought together 1 trillion men, woman and
children.
And yet humankind desires something more. Everything in the
local cluster has been too similar to Earth, reflecting our own worlds
past and evolution like an ever present warping mirror. The Federation
has therefore issued an edict to all scientists of the world, to find
something…..different. Something new. That in order for the species to
become the true masters of the stars they must come to understand what
truly lies beyond the local stars.
And some 60 light years from the
nearest human inhabited star system on a lone science vessel called
U.E.S.C Sagan Genesis the lights have just gone out and the ship is
falling towards an unexplored and unidentified alien world....
We
have a large library of board games on site, so pop in and play a game.
And bring your own board games to share with others too. Please make
sure you label your games in some way to save mix ups.
Here is the
roleplaying timetable for the weekend. All games come with pre-generated
characters. The Pathfinder and DnD 5th are Organised Play games so you
can use characters previously played in other Organised Play events too.
There are a couple of extra games for Sunday still to be added to the
timetable. Plus we have more DnD gms who will be offering extra games at
various levels.
Saturday morning session game - 9:30am to 1:30pm

weekend. Sell your old gaming stuff for cash and buy new gaming things
off other people. Please bring cash only, no eftpos.
